Tiburon/Belvedere

Tiburon is stunning! This town is bordered by Corte Madera to the north and Mill Valley to the west, but is otherwise largely surrounded by the Bay. A 20-minute ferry ride takes you to downtown San Francisco. Geographically, Tiburon is one of closest Marin County towns to San Francisco. In Tiburon, there are plenty of amazing restaurants with stunning views of the water, coffee shops, parks, bike paths and even a movie theater. Tiburon can offer an amazing, outdoor-oriented lifestyle.

Belvedere is the most upscale town in Marin County. The median property value is well above $2,000,000, and many homes were designed by famous architects. Belvedere is very small—less than one square mile—and surrounded on three sides by water. There are spectacular views of San Francisco, Angel Island, the Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito, and Mt. Tamalpais. Lacking a proper downtown, Belvedere is mostly residential. The nearest downtown area is Tiburon, which is directly adjacent.
